7. Credits, billing, and refund logic

Paid plans grant credits subject to the limits, validity period, and conditions disclosed at purchase. Paid plans renew automatically each billing cycle unless cancelled before the next renewal. Upon payment confirmation, cycle credits are released or renewed. When enabled by an eligible user, usage-based billing allows continued use after included credits run out, within the financial limit set for the cycle, and overage may be billed by Stripe in the current cycle or through an intermediate invoice. Upgrades may require a proportional charge before the higher plan and related credits are applied. Downgrades are scheduled for the next billing cycle, and the current paid plan remains available until the end of the period already paid. Moving to Free is treated as cancellation of paid renewal: paid access remains available until the end of the current paid period, after which Free limits apply. Existing paid subscriptions are updated rather than intentionally duplicated. Unless required by applicable law, payments are not refundable for partially used billing cycles. Credits consumed because of a technical generation failure identified through system logs may be refunded as credits, without creating a cash refund obligation.
