General

What is Modalis AI?

It is a multi-model AI platform that brings language models, image generation and video creation into one workspace, without requiring separate accounts with each provider.

Do I need technical knowledge to use it?

No! Modalis AI was designed to be intuitive. You can start with the AI chat immediately. Just sign up, receive your free credits, and begin exploring.

How do I get started?

Create a free account on the homepage. You'll automatically receive free credits to test the service without providing a credit card.

Features and Services

What services are available?

We offer chat with multiple AI models, image generation, video creation and a Clips Machine for producing short social media clips.

Are services instant?

Some workflows are immediate, such as chat. Image and video generations may be processed asynchronously and take a few minutes; progress is available in the platform.

Where can I see the results of my generations?

Images, videos and clips have dedicated areas where you can track generated items and the actions available for each result.

Which AI models are available?

We integrate AI models from different categories into one experience. You choose the most appropriate profile for each interaction, such as fast, advanced, or premium.

Credits and Plans

Can I use it for free?

Yes! When you sign up, you receive free credits to test the services for 7 days without providing a credit card. After that period, trial credits expire unless you subscribe to a plan.

What are credits?

Credits are the consumption unit on the platform. Each action, such as chat, image generation or video, consumes a different amount based on the selected model and parameters.

How does plan billing work?

Plans renew automatically every billing cycle. When the payment is confirmed, the credits for that cycle are added to your account. For example, if your plan renews today, your new monthly credits are released after the payment is approved.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal, but you keep using the paid plan until the end of the period you already paid for. Example: if your plan is paid until June 30 and you cancel on June 10, you keep access until June 30.

Do credits expire?

Free trial credits expire after 7 days. On paid plans, credits renew after each confirmed billing cycle; the dashboard shows how much time remains until renewal or expiration.

Can I upgrade my plan?

Yes. When you choose a higher plan, the change can happen right away after payment confirmation. If there is a difference for the current period, it may be charged before the new plan and credits are applied.

Where can I track my credit usage and balance?

You can track everything in the Dashboard and Profile: available balance by service, history, usage by service type, time until renewal, and, when usage-based billing is active, extra credits, amount already billed, and pending amount for the cycle.

How is credit consumption charged?

Consumption is charged per request. Each action deducts credits based on the operation type and model used. If credits run out and usage-based billing is active, the extra usage is tracked as money according to your plan price and may be billed by Stripe.

If my request to generate image, video, or text fails, are my credits refunded?

Yes. When processing fails, credits are refunded automatically. You can confirm the adjustment in your Dashboard balance and history.

Do new users receive trial credits?

Yes. New users receive free credits to try the platform for 7 days. Some AI models may have usage limits during the trial period.

What happens when my credits run out?

When your credits run out, paid plans can keep using the services if usage-based billing is active and the cycle financial limit allows it. Without that option, or after the limit is reached, usage is blocked until renewal, plan change, or limit adjustment.

Is there a one-time balance top-up?

No. Continuing after the included credits run out now happens through usage-based billing for eligible paid subscriptions. You can enable or disable it in Profile and set a financial limit per cycle.

How can I reduce credit consumption?

To save credits, use more objective prompts, select the right model for each task, and monitor usage history in the Dashboard to optimize your workflow.

During peak hours, can response speed and credit consumption change?

Yes. During peak hours, response speed may fluctuate and credit consumption may vary according to AI engine rules and the requested processing type.

Why can the credit estimate change after generation?

The estimate shown before generation is a forecast based on the selected model and parameters. The final amount can change according to actual usage, such as generated tokens, image count, duration, resolution, audio, or other parameters. On paid plans with usage-based billing enabled, the difference can become overage within the cycle limit.

How does chat charge credits in large conversations?

Text models may consume more credits in long conversations because cost depends on the context sent and the response generated. The platform may charge an initial reservation and adjust after actual usage to avoid charging below cost.

How do images and videos use credits?

Images and videos are calculated according to model category and the parameters accepted by each model. For videos, duration, resolution, audio usage, and generation type can change consumption.

Where can I see why an image or video consumed certain credits?

In the logged-in area, open the image or video from history. The detail view shows consumed credits and the main factors used in the calculation, such as model, duration, resolution, aspect ratio, quantity, and audio when applicable.

Does insufficient balance block generation?

It depends. Without usage-based billing enabled, insufficient balance blocks generation until renewal or plan change. With usage-based billing enabled, the system uses any remaining included credits first and tracks only the difference as overage, as long as the cycle financial limit allows it.

How does changing to a lower plan work?

When you choose a lower paid plan, the change is scheduled for the next billing cycle. You keep the current plan until the end of the paid period, and the lower plan starts on the next renewal. Example: if Premium is active until June 30 and you switch to Free or a lower plan on June 10, Premium stays active until June 30.

What happens when I move to the Free plan?

Moving to Free works like canceling the paid renewal. You do not lose paid access immediately; the paid plan remains available until the end of the current paid period. After that, your account follows the Free plan limits.

Will I be charged twice if I change plans?

No. If you already have an active paid plan, Modalis changes that subscription instead of creating a second one. Upgrades may ask you to confirm an extra payment for the difference, while downgrades and Free changes are scheduled for the next cycle.
